357 sig or .40 auto glass
Just for conversation's sake, what works better at penetrating auto glass?

When looking at penetration, just go for speed.

I would venture to guess the .357SIG would have the better chance..

I cant quote the source but I read data that the .357 Sig did quite a bit better on penetrating glass without deflecting.

The New Mexico State Police issue the 357 Sig for the penetration factor of shooting thru barriers such as glass, car doors etc, that said the 40S&W will just about equal the 357Sig with lighter bullets ( 155 gr. ) I'm sure some will dispute that claim but every study I have read says it's so and while I have never done any scientific testing on 1/4 aluminum plate the 357 makes a bigger hole than the 40 believe it or not.
