Store it in a military ammo can with pack of desicate thrown in and it will probably last longer than you'll live.

packagingsupplies.com sales them. If you buy food stuff sometimes there is a small pack of it in there and you can "recharge" them by putting them in the oven for a short time.
If you work in a place that recieves a lot of packaging they may have them in the boxes. Check them maybe you can get away with some free desicate.

ammo storage
Vaccume sealing is not really needed. As long as the container is air tight and won't let moisture in, ammo will last a lifetime. Heat and humidity is what kills ammo.

I have been wondering the same thing about vacuum sealing ammo. I have one of those Seal-A-Meal vacuum machines. I was thinking about using the bags to seal some ammo I have for long term storage.
I was wondering about evacuating all of the air INSIDE the cartridge. Doesn’t powder require oxygen to burn? If you evacuate the air, how long will it take the air to “leak” back in after you open the sealed container? And on a related topic: What about primers?

As RW and several others have said, vacuum sealing isn't necessary, just keep the ammo dry and cool. I have a "few" rounds that I vacuum packed simply because I had a food saver handy but no dessicant packs. I packed mine in 200 round lots so that I can just grab a bag and carry it in my range bag without the boxes coming open and shells going everywhere.
As far as vacuum packing, I have had no problems with the vacuum process interfering with either the powder or primers. Never had a FTF or squib due to powder or primer failure.
Also, none of the milsurp ammo I have bought was vacuum packed nor did it have dessicant packs in the tins yet it is all in good shape and looks brand new. I've even got some 7.62X25 for my CZ52's that is 1955 production yet it is bright, shiny, and goes boom everytime.

Powder has an oxidizer.
Potassium Nitrate, at least in old-black powder stuff...
