Ammo shortage getting ridiculous - XDTalk Forums - Your HS2000/SA-XD Information Source!

Maybe it is just me, but the ammo seems to be drying up by the week. I noticed a significant difference from last week's gun show to this week's. I couldn't find 7.62x39 today at the Medina County show to save my a$$. I should have bought the Barnaul tins last week when I had the chance. DANG!!!!

There was plenty of Wolf ammo at the last gun show here. Miwall had tons. I didn't care for the price, though, so I only picked up 500 more.

What shortage?????????? It seems every week Dunhams or Dicks has 7.62 or 5.56 on sale most of it's Wolf but my AK and my Colt AR eat it for a snack.

It's been in short supply for about a year and a half, now.

I hear ya, I baught my AK because the ammo was cheap, and now i can never get ahold of any, and when i can find it, the price sucks. I wish I got a FAL or an M1-A instead since .308 isnt a whole lot more if u get the old surplus stuff. my aswell shoot a gun with more balls behind it for the cash

The price and shortage is only going to go up fellas. When the Comrads in congress get their way, we'll be lucky to even have BB or Airsoft, kiss anything that uses powder goodbye.

I'm stocking up and so should you!

My local gun guy said that he is having difficulty getting some large rifle primers.
