Hollow point or FMJ

An opinions on which is better for USPSA competition? This is for my dainty 9MM in production.

What ever shoots the most accurate and the cheapest in your gun. I think you will find in most cases FMJ or CMJ will be the cheapest and sufficently accurate for USPSA.

From what I heard/read, the HP are SUPPOSTED to be better made as they are made from the bottom up where as the FMJ are made from the top down. Just what I heard/read. I'm not good enough to tell the differance though and the HP are going to be more expensive.

While I certainly have not tried every make and model of bullet on the market, I get the best accuracy out of FMJ in 9mm Luger and 45Auto. In 40 S&W, I get the best accuracy from a Hornady HAP bullet, which is a hollow point bullet designed for action pistol (versus self defense) purposes.

I use FMJ's in USPSA competition because it is cheaper.
