Ammo Prices: Get Ready To Grab Your Ankles!

I just got off the phone with a bullets maker and he stated that many of the big ammo makers are preparing to raise their wholesale prices by 10% over the next two months. That means ammo like WWB will go up by roughly 12-15% respectively. Something to consider.

Keep in mind that this increase allows the manufacturers to protect their baseline margins. The higher-end makers will raise their prices even more.

Makes me glad I started reloading 9mm last month. I made 2000 rounds in six weeks and I've already saved money over the competition loads I was buying.

sure glad I sunk money into reloading supplies a few months back. Hopefully I find some time to actually do it!

That is even more motivation for me to get into reloading...sooner rather than later.

Guys,

If you are looking for reliable bullets, checkout Precision Bullets. They are a coated lead bullet (Cost of Lead, Zero Leading in the barrel) that I have found to be very accurate and inexpensive. I just ordered 50,000 rounds today (for me and a couple of other guys).

Precision Bullets are struck, not cast, therefore you don't get unstable bullets because of air pockets, which is common in casted bullets. You also don't get the black, hard bit found in cheap lead bullets, that tear up your barrel over time.

No 147's available. Did you go with the 115's?

Actually, for 9mm I am using ZERO 147 JHPs. I am going to use Precision 185 in 40SW and their 230RND in 45ACP.
