Reloading overload
I visited Brian Enos' website and started reading about reloading. Certainly lots of info. He recommends that someone like me who has never reloaded before get the Dillon 550. Between which one to buy and what to buy...
For now I just plan to reload 9MM so at least that helps! Scales, calipers, trays, primer flippers (huh I'm down to 800 rounds and getting nervous. I hope to start reloading in Jan.

The 550 is a favorite. I'm not much for the auto indexing models. I feel more in control with the 550.

Somebody reloads for 9MM? You can usually buy store bought for the same or less.

Ok, sorry for the noob question and all, but I've been looking into the 550 actually. If I have NOTHING for reloading at the moment, would getting a 550 setup be basically all I would need to start? Obviously, I would need die's and such for each caliber I'm going to reload, but what about powder measurers, etc...maybe you can link me to the idiots guide to starting reloading?
Thanks as always!

As far as I understand the basics here is what you will need. A Scale to check charges, calipers to check your dimmension. After that you can clean cases in bucket and air dry and obviously the press and dies.
I'm going ubber cheap and doing single stage.

Several IPSC guys I know reload all winter and shoot all summer. They swear by the Dillion 550. Another member on the board has a single stage and we are going to start reloading handgun ammo. He has a Glock and is not going to reload you know the KB thing. He has a lot of experience with rifle ammo. After I get some experience I will do the same and get a Dillion 550.

Talk with forum member Gordy, as I know he is now selling Dillon gear.
As a proud owner of two 550s, I can honestly say they are great. I would suggest you get yourself a pair of digital calipers ($25) and skip the flip tray. The book trick works great. OS

Thanks, I PM'd him. I'll ask him about the book trick.
Isn't this rocket science?
