+1 I use to reload 9mm in the past and still do in a pinch but I don't save a plug nickel doing it imo it's just not worth it

I reload 9mm for accuracy and good power factor when knocking down larger steel.

THANKS to all for the help.
I recommend the Taurus 608 SS in 4". Eight shots of .357 Magnum. "They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time, it works every time."

I just bought a very lightly used Hornady Pro-Jector which is the predecesor to the Lock and Load sold today. It's a 5 station, auto indexing and was upgraded to use the case only powder drop. I load strictly .45's for myself and my dad. With the single stage I was using, it would take me 4-5 hours to load 200 rounds from cleaned cases. Each round was running through the press 4 times not to mention handling each case to prime then charge. It was unbelievably tedious! With the Hornady, I can load 200 rounds now in about 30 mins!

I wouldn't have minded a Dillon but geeze! they are proud of them!

I didn't notice it was a V8!

I think I have my race shocks sold so I have commited to a Dillon 550 reloader. I should be able to finish my list too. This gun, a 10/22, scope, the Dillon reloading stuff, and a few other goodies.

An early Christmas for me!

THANKS everyone for all the help. Time to stop using my desk for a gun work area and get something dedicated.

Exclamation

The 550 is a fine system, you can't go wrong with it.

I will second the opinion that reloading 9mm doesn't save you much money at all. If you are going for a specific load then reloading is OK but my personal opinion is the 9mm isn't much of a round for competition. I carry an XDS 9mm with Hydroshocks but all my reloading and competition is with 45ACP, which is MUCH easier to reload for than 9mm. You can load a lighter bullet and still get major class with .40 S&W, ditto with .45ACP.

Opinions vary of course, nobody listens to me so I feel free to give it out!

Sportsmans Guide has the very best internet price on 9mm ammo, but whenever you buy from the internet you MUST buy in volume to get a real break, a case of 1000 rounds is the minimum.

Sportsmans Guide used to sell Sellier & Bellot 124gr 9mm for a terrific price in 1000 round cases but it doesn't show up on their website anymore. Wait for the case prices, the 'box' prices aren't great. This is much better ammo than WWB. You can always get a $10 off instant coupon from the internet making the $14 shipping nearly free. I have 5,000 rounds of this ammo in my house, got it while the getting was good.

Free to reload .45 and .308, not the boring 9mm. HA! I said it, BORING!!

HAHAHAHAHA!!!
