HELP... Loader leaking
I did some research on reloading .223 and found you all suggested H335 for powder. So now im using a Dillon 550b RCBS dies and Im still leaking powder after charging the case. Its dribbling a few grains after every round and messing up my press and the primer seater.
Can someone offer a soultion for this. Thanks!!

Sounds like powder getting stuck?? I have found after about 15 -20 rounds I blow out the powder with canned air. You might want to break down the measure and give it a good cleaning.

I cleaned, honed, an reset up the powder station, I loose powder after every round. Could it be trapped air pressure in the case?? (displaced air after the powder charge)

Interesting idea, have you called or e-mailed Dillon about it? There are some accesories you can get to make the powder system more effective too.

The powder bar is new and I ran a .380 brass brush attached to a drill through the funnel. Also, after charging the case I wait a few seconds to make sure the powder drains into the case. Trapped air is the only thing I can come up with. I looked at the Dillon site and there isnt really anything about my problem.

not sure of the age. I have a rod for the powder return so thats not an issue, I did just called Dillon and I already tried everything they suggested. The last option is to clean the opowder measure between the powder bar and the funnel. Im going to do that now. The Dillon tech ( 20yrs there) said its par for the machine and to just blow off the turret if this doesent help.
UPDATE:: a quick wipe down with a dryer sheet did the trick, seems static was involved. thanks for the help!
