WWB 9mm sucks in my HS2000!

I had a range trip this weekend and brought along some CCI Blazer and a box of WWB 9mm to put through my Gen1 HS2000. The Blazer worked 100% but the WWB was choking on almost every other round! It kept failing to extract the case from the chamber.

It also jammed up a few times in a full auto MP40 I put a magazine through.

Anyhow, I finished the box of WWB and probably wont be buying it again.

Just figured I'd share the info.

I've had similar problems, but with less frequency from WWB lately. Leave the round in the chamber about 1 or 2 times out of 100. Both in .40 S+W and 9MM.

My XD 9MM service had the same problem. Every other brand I tried worked fine. I tried Rem. umc, Federal hydra-shok, Rem. Hollow points, Blazer Brass, Blazer (silver case), Independence. Springfield said that these guns are made with a "tight tolerance" and some brands of ammo won't work. They said that they could fix it, but it would lose accuracy. I guess just don't buy WWB. I was beginning to think that WWB doesn't have enough power to fully cycle the slide on some of these guns. My Subby shot WWB fine.

That bites WWB is some of the "Cheapest" ammo to shoot. Glad to hear its not the gun though. I have about 1,000 rnds of WWB 9mm. Every time I make a trip to Wally World I pick up ammo for one of my guns. That would really bite the big one if it started happening to me.

You guys having problems with the WWB, was the box marked "Made in USA" or was it the stuff made in Israel? I'm wondering if there's a difference in case design.

I've put a few hundred rounds of .45 ACP WWB through mine and haven't had any trouble at all (it's the USA-made stuff).

1200 rds wwb 9mm no problems. 780 rds wwb .45 acp no problems. Works great in my xd's and is cost effective for the range.

Like has been said a million times. Each firearm decides what it likes to shoot. It may not work for another firearm of the same brand.

You've got to find what it likes. Or try a different batch of wwb.
