.40S&W WWB Power Factor???

Anyone chorno'd this stuff? I'm sure it's in here somewhere. Just to tired to search any more. Feels a little bit snappy but not to bad. Curious what muzzle velocity's we're getting with the 5" barrel.

Robbie uses it as his major load. Darn winchester sponsorships.

All from the same box, right? So, this also answers another thread that I couldn't find at the moment where someone was curious about the difference in muzzle velocity/energy between the barrel lengths.

With the Tactical as the baseline

Tactical = 1065 fps or 416 ft/lbs
Service = -42 fps or -33 ft/lbs
Sub-Compact = -98.7 fps or 342 ft/lbs (-56.2 fps or -41 ft/lbs from the Service)

Of course different ammo/loads will have slightly different performance differences.

Good stuff, Thanks!
Yep, 190+ power factor is a tad snappy.

What's the formula for figuring power factor?

Bullet weight X velocity divided by 1000.
165 grain bullet going 1022FPS = 168630 / 1000 = 168.63 power factor.
