.45 ACP White Tip Tracer Ammo

I just got a box of 20 white tip incendiary ammo given to me. Is this stuff safe to shoot a few at a time? I like to practice every once in a while in low light conditions, and thought this stuff would put on a great show going down the range.

+1 on that. I can't remember the last range I went to that allowed those.

They probally gave it to you after it made a NASTY mess in their own handgun. Tracers work better with a rifle. Most handgun use is up close and personal anyway. Maybe it would set the Bad guy's guts ablaze if the round didn't kill him first.

Tracer rounds are a little hard on the barrel.
