xd likes them hot
I reload for my XD40. I noticed when i work up loads for it and range test my ammo the groups always get better when i get closer to max..Has anyone else noticed this.. loads are 180 gr Berrys under Unique,titegroup,Clays,IMR powders.

For the xd 40 The gun likes 6.4 grs of Unique under 180 gr berrys @1.125 OAL.. According to the data it shoots them at Aprox 1065 ft/sec @ 33,800 psi. I load them at 6.3 to 6.4 most of the time. Nice kick ass load.That what the pistol likes. Yes I have tried other more $$$$ bullets dosen't matter still likes them Hot!
