The Walmart in Wilson, NC had the following last night:

2 boxes of 7mm rifle rounds.
1 box of .410 shotgun shells.
2 boxes of 12ga birdshot.
Absolutely zero guns in the case.

This is getting scary as all get-out now. Even in the 2008 Obama Ammo Panic we never ran out of .40S&W, shotgun ammo, or the more obscure rifle rounds.

This time EVERYTHING (except above) is GONE.

(And there ain't no more 12ga birdshot left in Wilson now neither.)

Personally, I have a good supply because I reload. It's hard to find most ammo, especially .22lr. Too bad I can't reload those.

See, this is how rumors start
She may have said it but it is total BS. They are getting new shipments in daily here, right up to yesterday.
The salesperson at wall mart has NO idea what there corporat ammo policy is. And it is business as usual. All repeating that statement does is fuel the panic.

I have said for years that the problems in the Valley will be ours too up I-35 in San Antonio and now I can see the proof. There isn't anything to be had anywhere in town as far as 9mm, 40SW or .22LR. And it's been this way since December. Dick's, Bass, Academy, WallyWorld-you name it-empty shelves. The range I use had some for range use last weekend, but I'm waiting to see what's left this saturday. Sheesh...

PA stores have some of all, some. They are marked up in price though.

NO 22LR, NO .223 anywhere, from gun shops, pawn, hardware stores, Wallyworld, even back country general stores.

9mm, scarce, but about 1 out of 8 places that sell ammo have it.

.40 and .45, easiest to find, but still some stores with empty shelves.

Last wal-mart gun dept manager I talked to said they get in "a little" from time, but have no idea what or when, it's either on the truck (that comes 5 days a week) or it's not.
