My XDM eats everything.
The MFS has been fine after several hundred rounds, and that includes through my AR which won't eat several types of other steel ammo.
If I could find MFS for a reasonable price anywhere, I'd stock up.

Ive bought .223 from www.freedommunitions.com with good result. Last I looked they have 9mm in stock.

I would avoid all foreign ammo with the exception of IMI (israeli military industries) and all ammo with steel cases. Thats just me.

Some of the steel ammo is boxer primed, and is reloadable.
I've reloaded some Tula steel .223, and it worked just fine. Some people will recommend against it, because they think that it may be hard on their dies.
My personal opinion, is that if the cases are adequately lubed, it probably won't hurt the dies. That being said, I don't plan on reloading any significant quantity of steel cases.

I don't like Tula either as its Super dirty and the aluminum cases sometimes bind in the magazine. My XD does fire everything, but I have noticed that winchester bulk is very dirty compaired to federal.
Probably start shooting bulk reloads as they are cheaper.
