I was wondering what everyone's preferences were for .40SW personal protection or hollow point ammo?
Right now I have a box of Federal 180 HiShok JHP and was looking to see what the prevailing attitude was around here as far as the others are concerned.

I use PDX-1 in mine.
For no other reason than it was the first kind I purchased and it shot and cycled well in my gun. Decided if it works, don't need to change it.

RangerT's, Gold Dot's, HST's, PDX1's are all good choices. Just make sure you run them through your gun before you trust your life to them.

PDX-1 works fine for me.
No problems with Hornady XTP handloads for practice either.
