.40 personal protection/hollow point preferences

This is a discussion on .40 personal protection/hollow point preferences within the The Ammo Can forums, part of the Armory Talk category; Rem Golden Sabres, PDX-1's, and Wichester 180gr Bonded JHP (they look just like the PDX's but with no zinc/nickel plating)......

I'm surprised that no one has posted a link to the "approved" list yet.
Yeah... where is Cuda? He and Agalindo both had a list of the FBI compliant rounds for the various calibers.

Let's add this: Congress shall make no law which limits the type, caliber, capacity, or rate of fire of any arms the People have or want to have.

Here's a couple popular ones:

Speer Gold DOT
Federal HST
Winchester PDX1 (I uses these in all my pistols)
Remington Golden Saber (The Local LEOs here use these)

Speak, and I shall appear.

Best Choices for Self Defense Ammo

My only .40 is loaded with the Federal Tactical 165; LGS had a couple hundred rounds on the shelf for only .40 a round, and I was happy with it's performance in my Para.
