Your Thoughts on This Ammo and Website to Purchase From
Hey y'all, I have been looking for some cheaper plinking/target .223 ammo for my AR15. Seems the cheapest is Wolf, Tula and Silver Bear. I've heard a lot of negative stuff about Wolf and Tula, but not much about Silver Bear. From everything I've read, the Silver Bear is a bit better. What's your opinion on this?
Also, I was looking at J&G Sales to buy from. ( This stuff here) They're the cheapest I can find. However I have found some pretty negative reviews, but they seem to be from several years ago. What are your experiences with this company?
Thanks for your help!

After shipping I buy reloads locally for less than that. Pricing and availability depend on your location, but I'd rather shoot factory reloaded brass and have it to load again than shoot steel and throw it away. Another advantage, in my opinion, is supporting people who live and work in my community.

How much are you looking to buy?
Your greatest savings is buying in bulk (outside of reloading your own). It's tough to beat Walmart's prices on plinking ammo. It sucks to say, but them buying in volume helps keep the prices down.
I haven't had the opportunity to buy in bulk yet, but when I do, I'm going to be going with SGAmmo.com. It's a place I've used before and they've been very good to me. I have never used the site that you listed, so I can't comment on them. But looking at the price for that case of 500, they seem a bit high.
223 / 5.56mm | SGAmmo.com - that's their listing for .223/5.56 ammo. Check them out!

Man I've never had a lick of trouble out of Tula 55gr. FMJ. I got 500rds.$105 from CTD a few months back. I think it's up to $115 per 500rds now.

And I can't get a full magazine's worth to cycle through my AR.

Natchez Shooters Supplies has several varieties of .223 on sale. Just note that their shipping rates are a bit higher than other places.

My RRA with a Slide Fire Stock eats Tula and Wolf up. It is better than using up my hand loads in a 30 round three second burst.
