As for buying on line, in many cases it is preferable not so much for the price advantage as it is the availability.
I don't know about your area, but I frequently have difficulty finding what I want at WalMart.

You have to be careful with shipping. Unles the seller is in the same state, you don't pay sales tax though. If the total including shipping comes up to less than I can pay at Walmart (if they have stock), I'll order it by the case. The best deal I've found lately is freedommunitions.com It's good ammo too.

I've bought a ton of Tula from Cheaper Than Dirt. With tax and shipping it's about the same as WalMart with a lot more in stock and without the hassle of trying to find the associate with the key.
I'm in Houston and most orders arrive overnight.

Yeah it's hard to beat Wal-mart prices. They just suck at keeping stock in my area anyway. I've used Cheaper Than Dirt & Natchez...
