White Box - Bad batch?

Never had any problems with this stuff before.. Winchester white box of 100 9mm.... The 2 with destroyed casing were in one box and the FTF was in another... I couldn't believe the damaged casing ones.. Also my first FTF in my 5.25, needless to say I switched to my Freedom Munitions for the rest of day.

Someone in quality control must have had a hangover that day..

It is one of the cheapest ammos available.
That doesn't make it acceptable, but some times we get what we pay for.
Although 100% would be better, 97% isn't bad for cheap stuff...

You see that with factory and reloads some times. I crushed a 30 carbine case with a bullet while reloading Thursday. A little adjustment and everything was back to normal. It was my first time loading that caliber.

Email or call Winchester and they will have UPS pick up the ammo. You will get replacement ammo.

1st 2000 this year no problems.

last two trips to range, 1 squip each time.

One was a IDPA match.

Not a bad product, it may be they are working machinery and man overtime to the point of making some questionable decisions about training new people, capturing all the scrap when something fails or PMing the machinery as it should be done. All in the name of a buck and yet we demand it on the shelf.

I am not complaining and i will keep buying it due to convenience and cost unless it gets worse.

They have been mandating OT for several years. One of my friends worked in the brass mill but transferred to their Fire Department for a lot less money so that he could have a life.
