Small rifle primers in 9mm?

This may be stupid but I have just received my 9mm and .223 dies and I want to buy my supplies in bulk. Through my research I have found that the CCI small rifle primers are identical in composition to the CCI small pistol MAGNUM primers. I have seen many many people say that it is ok to use the small rifle primers in pistol cartridges. I want to buy 1000's at a time and it would be nice if they would be interchangeable.
I am planning on ordering 1000 115 gr Berry's round nose bullets and I was wondering on my powder selection. I have the Lee perfect powder measure and it works better with granulated powder instead of flake powder. Any suggestions on granulated powder? I was thinking Win 231 to start.

Next problem I have been looking at reloading .223. Reloading target ammo will not save me much but to reload my hunting rounds it will save a considerable amount. Where is the best place to buy bulk FMJ or soft point .224 diameter to reload. I have found the best prices at graffs? Any other suggestions??

In addition to the hogdgon manual and the hogdgon website and the ABCs of reloading I am getting the hornaday reloading manual.

Thanks for the help.

I use SP rifle primers in my 9mm when I can't find SP pistol primers in stock. I buy 55gr HPs Xtreme Varmint Nightmares from MidSouth Shooters they are pretty darn accurate and cheap. Shipping is cheaper than Midway.

W231 is a fine powder for 9mm. It should meter fine. I like Berry's 124gr bullets.

That's actually what I just ordered 1000 of them actually. Berry's 124 gr RN and 500 .224 diameter 55gr bullets for the .223. Now I just need primers and some pistol powder.. I'm excited to work up some loads.
