Sure, but that does not explain the excuse of a cash flow issue. With all of those unfilled orders he was taking he should have had cash coming out of his ears. Apparently all of that money was going somewhere besides ordering new stock and making ammo.

My latest update...
Yesterday morning I received an email from the info@jackrossammo.com account with the following text:
Quote:

We appreciate your order but we are so backlogged it will be awhile before you get it. We have shut off all Internet sales for all of our reloads, but some still get through. Please be patient I have over 1000 e-mails to reply to but eventually you will get your ammo. I am in the back room packing so there is nobody in the office..

This wasn't in response to any of my emails or inquiries. Just a lone email. Odder still since they confirmed my request for cancellation and a refund on Jun 21st.
Then I get an automated email from their purchasing system notifying me that my order had been completed. Of course my order status has been "completed" since the data I placed it in April.
Lastly I receive an email from Fed Ex with a tracking number and my original invoice number from my April 12th order. WTF?
I hope this means that they are getting caught up, but I suspect my complaint to the BBB and posting to their Facebook page resulted in my order getting bumped up in the queue. My order number is 1398.
My bank has already credited back the original charge. I suppose I'll wait to see if the shipment contains the full order and if so I'll contact the bank and tell them to pay Jack Ross. If they actually make delivery on the product I certainly don't want to screw them over even though I'd asked for a refund three weeks ago and got a confirmation that they would cancel my order. I won't turn away delivery of serviceable ammo.

He was probably using the extra cash to buy more equipment, hoping that he could fulfill the orders faster with more equipment. This is a great example of what happens when you try to expand your business to quickly.

A local range here in Vegas sells there reloads cheap...very cheap compared to competition. I have shot 300 rounds of their reloaded .45 through my XDS without a single problem.

I'm order number 1074 or something close to that. I'd have to look back at the order confirmation on April 4th. Yea april. Dang I hope they come threw I still havnt heard back from them in almost two months. Worse transaction I've ever had dealing with anyone online. What a crock.
I think who ever said he was buying equipment and expanding hit the nail on the head bc last time I was contacted they said they was expanding and trying to get orders out.

How did you cancel? I've attempted to communicate via email and phone. No response from either. I'm order 1764 so if they're still processing the 1000's, I've got a while to go. I was okay with a 6 week lead time... but this has gone beyond ridiculous.

You can send them an email to cancel your order, but that's probably just a formality at this point since you likely won't receive a response or refund.
Contact your credit card company or bank and contest the charge due to failure to deliver the product. It helps to include copies of any correspondence you've made with Jack Ross. You'll likely get a provisional refund while they research the issue and wait to see if Jack Ross contests the charge-back.

My credit card company credited my account on 8/2. It sounded like Jack Ross didn't respond to their inquiries, either.

That's great to here. This is proof that you should always pay online transactions with a CC. There's a huge jack ross thread over on calguns, and a lot of guys are totally screwed over there. They paid with their bank debit card, and their banks only have a 60 day dispute period. Since jack ross led them on, telling them, "just wait a few more weeks, and we'll get the ammo to you." Now they are past the 60 day mark, and there's nothing they can do at this point.
Also to top it all off, they had a booth at a gun show around the end of June? So, you can sell at the gun show, but can't fill your online customers orders?
