Been hearing a lot about Jack Ross reloads (online merchant) that are about 170 bucks /1000 in 9mm 115 gr.

Ah there's lots of stuff that goes "bang" however there's plenty that I'd never chamber in my M4. I generally go with Fed/Lake City rounds for it. Hence the question regarding the new weapon. I've been told that this pistol will shoot just about anything you toss at it but would still like to know what's best/most reliable.
Thanks for all the answers, much appreciated!

My ammo of choice is Federal American eagle 124gr. I buy by the case, 233 shipped, equals about 11.65 a box for good quality mid-grade ammo. I beleive my XDm 4.5 9mm groups better with 124gr.

Ammo
Federal Premium at Walmart, 100 rd boxes. Use Federal for home defense as well. Heaviest one I can find.

For practice, I buy whatever's cheapest, or use my own reloads. The real stuff is Speer Gold Dot 124 gr. +p Short Barrel.

Federal American Eagle 147 gr. is what I like to compete with so its what I like to train with. Federal has been the most reliable ammo for me. Never had a FTF, FTE, and when I shoot for accuracy it has seemed the most consistent. I have to be in the 10,000-20,000 round range with it through my SIG.
