THe biggest issue w/ any progressive is the primer feed. The LNL is no exception. It also struggles w/ the case feeder. Almost like it was an after thought. Still, for the money, a pretty good progressive. If I really wanted a case feeder & auto indexing, the DIllon 650 is a far better machine for $120 or so more.

I like mine. Things I like - quick change over for different calibers, fairly good change over for primer large/small. Got mine with the "Get loaded" annual free bullet offer - 500 free bullets. In almost two years, have had only one very minor issue two months ago - chewed a little spring in the primer seater punch. Called Hornady, asked for spring, nice fellow said better to give me entire new punch assembly - three days latter it was in my mailbox.

I paid $379 but that was almost two years ago. Midway rarely has them on sale from $415: Lock-N-Load AP Progressive Press

Cabela's reg price is $439, on sale right now at $399: Cabela's: HornadyŽ Lock-N-Load Auto Progressive Press

I have done very well with mine.

I've seen them advertised lately for as little as $389. Natchez Shooters Supply has them at that price, though out of stock right now.

Love mine and love Hornady costumer service. Midsouth shooting supply has them on sale right now for around $385. I paid around $400 and thought it was a good deal. Still do. The priming issue isn't bad with the LNL. No issues ever with the pistol calibers. I had trouble with .223 until I used a primer uniform tool. Now no problems with it. Well, ok occasional upside down primer. Can't blame that on the press though.

I have just begun with mine and think it is a great machine. One nice thing about Hornady is you can buy Hornady stuff for the press at most good retailers. The case feeder is a little tricky as is the primer feed but when you get it right it really works. I have been adding the appliances as I can afford. Bought the press at Cabelas at Christmas time using one of their great coupon deals, made the case feeder purchase about a month ago and am looking into the bullet feeder for next month. I enjoy loading and enjoy the money savings I am realizing. I am sure you can figure out who the guys are on this thread to listen to as they have lots of experience with reloading. I know the Dillion's are very nice as well, I just happened to have drank the red Kool-Aid. You will not be disappointed with either machine.

I've been more than pleased with my LNL. A buddy of mine bought a Dillon 650 about the same time as I bought mine. I've had absolutely no issues with mine so far but he has replaced a bunch of parts on the Dillon. His 550 runs perfectly though. For me at least, the simple design and operation of the LNL is perfect.
