Well I purchased 500 rounds of Blaster 9mm from them and went to the range with it yesterday. I shot up about 100 rounds and had ZERO failures. I could not tell the difference between it and WWB of Federal from Walmart. Also it did not seem to be any cleaner or dirtier than anything else I have shot.

Good stuff as far as I am concerned.

Bought their Krazy Deal last week of 250 9mm and 250 .223 for $89. Fired 150 of the 9mm tonight. I had 1 stove pipe. It's my first failure in ~2600 rounds with my XD9.

Wow, I can't believe this thread is still alive and kicking from when I first started it. I'm glad to see all of the positive feedback and sorry that some of you had bad experiences. I've moved to purchasing ALL of my plinking ammo from them since Walmart is constantly out and and they can ship it quite inexpensively to me since I'm also in WA, their backyard.

@ Shepp3rd... Strangely, their area code for customer service is in the Houston Texas area code (713), but you say you are right next door in WA, which is Washington State. Did I miss something?

Interesting.... they ship from Lewiston, Idaho -- maybe their customer service is based in Texas??

I also live in WA and get 2-3 day service from them and it says right there on their return label they are in Idaho. Interesting!

I usually buy the new from them and decided to get a case of Blaster this time. I can't believe how good it looks and shoots. Same exact copper plated bullets as new and the brass all looks pretty darn good. I've gone through 500 of them already and all shot great. Not one of them even had a dent in the brass. I'm going to start getting Blaster now and save the 20 bucks/case!

Thanks for the heads-up.

Freedom Munitions

I am on my second order of Freedom munitions. I have shot their .45's in a sig, an xd, a taurus pt145 & a kimber. No issues, accuracy is good and ammo is as clean as any other. Their packaging has gone downhill. Many packages were receive broken open on my last shipment. Boxes have gotten much lighter and cheaper. Ammo shoots fine - packaging leaves a lot to be desired. Make sure you have a good hold on the box when you pick it up or it will be all over!

They are supposed to be opening a store front here in Houston. Great..then I can go in person and pick it up. Talked with Rudy and he is a really nice guy and wants to give everyone great service from what I see.

Bought a 250rd blaster 9mm order and yes, it shipped from Oregon. 115gr fmj practice ammo.

The stuff shoots as good or better and is cleaner than Tula or Monarch (Privi Partisan) 9mm. The stuff fed just fine in my P228 and Glock 17, but I expect nothing less from those very reliable guns.

Once they open in Houston next month...I am walking in and getting 1000rds of 45 and 100rds of 223 for the new Colt 6920 AR.

...good stuff...order with confidence!
