Can anyone tell me about Corbon DPX ammo. What I have read looks good.

I have no real world shoot anecdotes to share, but from what I've seen the DPX is a decent round that always expands reliably and has excellent penetration.
Some info I have found. http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=203800 John Farnham is well repected in the gun community and knows what he's talking about. Penetration of a heavy leather jacket, 4 layers of denim and 9" of gelatin from a .380!! I carry the .40S&W CorBon DPX in my XD and I am confident it will do what I need if I need it to.

I have not heard of any actual shootings with it either. But all the test I've read say its very good.
Its a solid copper Barns X bullet, it expands very reliability, keeps 100% of it weight and penetrates hard barriers very well. Here are some links to tests. http://www.handgunsmag.com/ammunition/dpx_022305/ http://www.hipowersandhandguns.com/C...09mm%20115.htm http://www.hipowersandhandguns.com/C...0.45%20ACP.htm http://www.hipowersandhandguns.com/Bersa%20Thunder.htm Lots of various test here. http://www.mouseguns.com/amball.htm Do a search here for "DPX", a few more tests including barrier penetration. http://www.stoppingpower.net/forum/
