you have any local commercial reloaders? I'm currently paying $0.15/ round + credit for my brass. But my guy has come up with a new bullet/load that's going to increase my costs  But, damn those bullets are crazy accurate!

Yep. I worry about every dollar I don't have to spend or can divert to a better spend. Why pay more if you don't have to? To some folks on this board, it does make a difference, and they can't afford to buy in bulk. I'm simply offering an alternative to save 20% on a $50 purchase.
Like I said, for me it is a way to slowly build up my ammo dump in storage. It is not what I shoot during the week. I've done about 30 of these. $300 is nothing to sneeze at.
As your signature says "You don't become a better shooter unless you can shoot more & you don't shoot more unless you can do it for less".
Everyone has a different affordability point. $10 = 50 more rounds that someone can practice with.

Only way to get it cheaper is to buy in bulk online or start reloading

My local walmart just got in some 100 rounds boxes of federal champion for 19.97/box.
Its two loose pack boxes inside a larger box. Really hope they continue to stock this ammo.

that place has a ton of stuff cheap. as far as ordering bulk ammo, your talking about saving a little.
at my walmart, winchester 9mm for the 100 value pack is right about 23$
so at 5 cases im spending about 125 after taxes. 500 rounds = $125x2 = 1000 rounds for $250.
cheaper than dirt sells 1000 rounds for 180 plus shipping. shipping to where i live was 30$.
so saving 40 dollars and having to wait for the ammo, i guess you could put it buy 8 cases get 2 free if you order, haha.
