When the verdict is out on this round, I may consider buying it. Until then, I ain't buying any pistol rounds by Hornady.
Critical doody? Like crap? LOL.
I think Hornady changed their description of the Critical Defense when they released the Critical Duty round, or at least it seemed that way when I read about the new Critical Duty round.
In any case, until we see "real" results from certain members here, I'll stick with my HST (if/when I can find them) or my Ranger T, or even my Hornady TAP CQ.
Until that time....the wait begins.

I bought a box for .45acp and put it in the safe a few months back

When Doc Roberts tests it and says it is a good self defence round I will carry it but not until then

Thank you Agalindo, much appreciated. I myself keep the Speer Gold dot in my Beretta .40 and the Corbon DPX in my .38's, as I previously mentioned somewhere and sometime on this forum.

Noticed in Cabelas new shooting catalog for 2012 Critical Duty is already priced at 22.99 a box of 20 rounds. however I haven't heard of anyone shipping it yet.

I do want to get my hands on some of these and see what they can do

How are you going to "see what they can do"?

On cabelas I compared the duty and defense and they look exactly the same. I smell bullshiit.
