+P ammo

i have an xd9 subcompact. i am a relatively new shooter. it occurred to me that i have no idea if i should stay away from loading +p ammo in it. i'm sure it's a simple answer. can anyone help?

+p is ok in xd's, never heard of anyone having malfunctions using +p in these handguns. test some out 1st before keeping them as a self defense load to be certain for reliability. other than that your good 2 go on +P.

+P will give you a noticeable kick. If you carry with it, make sure you practice with it enough to be confident that you will hit your target.

i shot many speers gold dot +P loads i never had a problem. u will feel a little more recoil and seems to crack a bit louder.
