Been done before.
I don't have ammo because I don't own any firearms since the tragic boating accident.

I've seen that you made remark to "the tragic boating accident", what happened? I'm new here so if you've explained this before I apologize. Also I don't want to repost a former thread, but like I said I am new here, so I am curious what people have in stock.

Just a few hundred of each pistol caliber. Most of my ammo is shotgun shells used for hunting, not sitting in a cabinet.

Well I was rowing my little 10 foot dinghy across the Columbia River bar to go salmon fishing. I had my entire gun collection with me. A 700 ft cargo carrier threw up a bow wave that swamped my little dinghy.
The Coast Guard had to come out and save me from being swept out to see. And my guns are at the bottom of the river.

That is a very tragic story. I am so sad to hear that you were rowing in your 10' dingy and a 700' cargo carrier knocked you over. Life is full of tragic little experiences isn't it? Well I'm glad to see that you are still an active member of XDforum even though you lost all your arms' in such a tragic boating accident. I guess rowing a dingy in a major shipping lane is not a good idea huh?

I was a good half mile out of the shipping lane. But those big ships can throw up a huge bow wave coming through the bar. They don't waste time coming through there as it's the most dangerous bar in the world.

Honestly, I have about 300 rounds of .22, 20 rounds of Hornady XTP .45 in my magazines on the nightstand and in the gun, and 20 rounds of 7.62x54r... That's about it.
