I have shot a lot of Blazer 9mm. We can get it locally at Academy for $3.85 a box.
How you gonna beat it? Here's some results: http://www.theboxotruth.com/docs/edu6.htm It shoots just fine.

Wow im surprised at everyones liking 2 this ammo i have shot it threw my 44 and my 357 only 2 b disapointed had problems ejecting ammo from revolver cylinders seem 2 swell up after fired also had some problems with casing cracking. I think for an extra dollar or so box for SMC or others ill pay so i wont have these problems. But good luck for everyone

My Walther and SW99 use CCI Blazer fine. My HK USP will barely function w/ it, however. Instead of tossing the casings several feet to the right, it barely throws them a couple of inches up and the casings fall to the left side of of the gun pathetically. With WWB or other ammo, the USP throws them far to the right like normal.

In my XD9 I have had zero failure to anything with CCI blazer aluminum. I just bought 100 rounds of the CCI blazer brass and am going to try it out this thursday, but for me, the aluminum cases have functioned flawlessly in my XD.

Hello Old Painless, mind if I ask which Academy that is? Ours around Bryan and Conroe have raised their price to just under $5.00 a box. I had been wanting to load up on some more and if your Academy still has it for that price, I am going to give them a call. Thanks.

I stopped using WWB because it kept leaving goldish grains (unexploded power maybe) all over the inside of the gun. I've never used the CCI Blazer, but love the Blazer Brass in 9mm. I put about 2500 rounds thru my XD-9 and last week was the first time that I had a FTF. Other than that, I love the stuff. Cheap and accurate!

I checked at the Acedemy in Port Arthur and they have raised the price $1 to $4.85 a box. A real heartbreaker.

CCI Aluminium is excellent for targeting. It was the only ammo that I could use reliably when my HS2000 extractor began to show wear. I also have this compulsion of wanting to pick up my brass as I shoot it. When shooting the aluminum, I don't have to bother because it can't be reloaded anyway.

I like it, but I've dented the cases trying to load mags. I definately prefer brass but for blaster ammo Blazer's fine.
