dumb ammo purchase question
so my wonderful girlfriend called me from wally world today and I asked her to check out their ammo and pick me up some if they had it. I asked for some .40 & some .357. she called back and said they had both! sweet.. except she got .357SIG not magnum. honestly in I didnt know there was a difference in .357 but I do NOW. well they obviously will not exchange it. what do I do with it now? (buying a gun to match it wont work...)
anyone in Orlando want some .357SIG ammo???

I say buy a .357 Sig....she'll learn that if she buys the wrong ammo, you'll "have" to buy a gun to match.

Sorry to hear about the mistake, but at least .357 Sig is a popular enough round. You should be able to find someone to buy it or trade you some .40 for it during a range visit sometime.

Get a .357 sig barrel for your .40 S&W they use the same mags you may need a differant recoil spring as well but everything else is the same.

Girlfriends can't stop gun purchases. Wives, on the other hand, can stop lots of stuff.

Trade it out, put a ad out in the classified to trade it for another caliber. I wouldn't waste money on a 357 sig. I did the same thing, I was able to talk them into a store creadit. I buy thousands of rounds of ammo from one store and this was before the Obama rush. Told them I asked for the .357 and was given the sig. Told them I would never buy any more ammo there. Manager gave me a store credit.
