reloading? casings w/+P?

i am going thru brass i picked up at the range in hopes of starting to reload. most of the cases say the size and manufacturer, some actually have +P on them, I know what +P ammo is, but my question is, if i am making my rounds regular and not +P, is there a difference? are those shells thicker or stronger, do they reload the same...learn me on this plz

thanks

They are the same brass. They just have the +P so people can tell what they are if they were seperated from the box. Load away my friend Load away.

I think the brass is a bit thicker but it shouldn't make much difference unless you are making max loads.

9mm +p brass is the same as "standard" 9mm brass; not so for .45ACP. However, I load them the same, anyway.

+P .45 ACP Brass A Little Bit Thicker And Stronger

Because some (most?) of the .45 chambers are a little bit unsupported in the bottom rear. No big deal reloading reduced round nose lead reloads as long as you know the inside diameter at the rim MIGHT be a little bit tighter and the gas pressure, because of the SLIGHTLY reduced case volume, might be slightly higher. Make sense? Enjoy. HB of CJ (old coot)

i guess i ujst want to make sure when i buy bulk bullets, and use "regular" (non +P) suggested powder loads that i don't have to worry about what case i use

Compare Hornady TAP black nickel brass to regular brass. The TAP is seriously overbuilt.

I guess I told you wrong. Sorry about that. I just read an artical somewhere that said the +p brass was the same as non-+p. And I thought everything you read on the internet was true.
