i would hope the +P brass would be better than non, but my main concern is the Inner diameter, i would have to get different bullets or discard the +P brass if the diameters were different

The information contained in this thread has nothing to do with the bullet diameter used.

Should be ok. Just make sure the brass you pick up at the range you check for signs of excessive pressure before you use it. Maybe even go as far as to ask people what they're shooting and ask politely if you can have their brass beforehand so you can find out if they're shooting factory or reloads so you know status of the brass. I personally wouldn't use other peoples prevoiusly reloaded brass that I didn't know as a safety precaution. That's what I'd do personally.

As long as you are not loading nuclear laods, shooting mixed brass has never caused me a problem in more years than I care to remember. If you are pushing 9mm major, then new or once fired brass is a best bet.

I agree, but I was referring more to shooting someone else's reloaded brass that may have already had nuclear loads in them rather than just mixed brass. I shoot mixed brass all the time, I just like to know where it's been and what it's been through.

why not? i am asking about if the brass is the same or different, if the ID is different, then obviously the brass is different.

The brass is not different. If it was then it wouldn't be 9mm X19 would it?
If there is a bit of extra thickness it will be in the casehead and is not externally different only a slight difference in powder capacity not on the case wall id.
