After I have the charge set, I load 10, weigh 1, then seat bullets. Continue in that mode, adjust accordingly, until my batch of primed cases are complete. Takes awhile, especially with a single stage press, but I enjoy the process.

yeah i had the bullet get stuck in my barrel. one good thing was the bullet didnt go in very far and the length that it went down the barrel didnt permit proper chambering of successive rounds. i didnt have a dowel or whatever but smacking on a screwdriver with a rock worked fine lol

Screwdriver!

Good way to ruin a barrel.

well at least now i know though why the hell your barrel gets so hot after a bit of shooting. those little suckas are going through a very tight space at really high velocities

Do you think it was a wise decision to go ahead and shoot the bullet instead of sorting it out of the box like some suggested?

well i was partially unsure as to if i had even dun it or not. i figured if i shot slowly with those bullets and one got plugged in the barrel i could just tap it out without any harm. Thats pretty much what happened.

I did this once some years back I was distracted when my son walked in when I was dropping powder and the gun said click on a deer, luckily it wasnt a monster buck and luckily I had a bad primer as well ,since then I use a good light and look into every round on every row in tray.
