GOLDEN SABERS cannot be considered cheap and i surely didnt buy it on purpose because it is cheap. I bought it because i believe remington ammos are of good quality. But i started having second thoughts about HP's after reading reviews in this forum about the GS which i use as my defensive ammo.

I've tested a bunch of 185gr & 230grRGS in wetpack & water. The older ones can shed a jacket on occasion, but it's rare. They do expand better than their bonded brothers though.
Too many shooters worry about this stuff when they should be worrying about their shooting abilities. When you can place a shot on demand into a playing card at any range to 20yds, then you can start sweating the minutia.
