Has anyone notice that the price for a box of 9mm aluminum Blazer at Academy just went up $1, from $3.86 to $4.86. I bough 4 boxes today and didn't notice it until at the checkout. I went back to the gun counter and they told me the price just went up yesterday. Arrrrrrrrrrr.

Yesterday WWB rang up at $5.86 instead of $4.86. I told them I bought some the other day at $4.86. They verified it and changed the price. I guess they bumped the prices across the board.

I got the wwb instead of cci blazers for the same price today. 4.86 What's 2cents more a round, anyhow? I could of had lunch for the extra money I spent on six boxes!!

I had heard several months ago that ammo prices were going to go up across the board from .22 LR all the way up, so I bought 3000 rnds. of Blazer 9mm from Academy to stockpile (it won't last long). I decided to get some more but as you said, the price had jumped. I just bought 5000 rnds. of Blazer .45 ACP from Natchez and paid $8.33 a box. It came to $833.00 + $97.86 shipping + $3.99 handling for a total of $934.85. This equals $9.35 a box. Academy wanted $9.98 a box and it didn't matter if you wanted 1 box or 1000 boxes. Including sales tax, the cost would have been $10.80 a box. I saved $145.00 and my ammo was here in 2 days. If I had waited until now to order I could have saved even more but thought at the time that the same thing might happen at Natchez like it did at Academy. Natchez is having a case sale and the .45 ACP FMJ Blazer is $7.99 a box for 10 or more.
