Powder for low-ish density 165 gr .308 loads
Been a while since I stuck my head in here...
In my infinite wisdom, I picked up some of Hornady's new 165 gr. GMX bullets for use in my .308 Icon, not thinking that an all-copper bullet was gonna be long for its weight... These suckers are looooong...
Anyways, the only real .308-ish powders I have are Varget and IMR 4895, which I could foresee giving me a fair number of problems in terms of case capacity. Any of yall have any experience with a good .308 powders that gave relatively low load densities?
