instead of nylons you can use coffee filters and seal them up.

I guess if it contains silica gel, then it should be fine.

Tidy Cats - For Multiple Guns

I like it - but does it suck up moisture from the air vs a direct shot from Priscilla the *****? Would hate to have to imbed my XD in a litter box.

BTW - don't tell the people at WD-40 that it's a great liniment either, they will raise the price.

This may answer your question. Does everything well except clump & not biodegradable.

Types of Kitty Litter Ingredients

Cost: Around $15 for 8 lbs.
Brands: ExquisiCat Crystals; Tidy Cats Crystals

For anyone looking for a large container of desiccant for a fairly reasonable price check out DRIERITE - Number 1 in Drying Technology For Over 60 Years

I use this in my gunsafe along with a heating rod and have had no moisture problems since.

On the left side of the webpage is something titled Compartment Desiccator...its 10lbs of desiccant in an aluminum mesh tube for 25 dollars and when I ordered I think there was roughly 9 dollars to ship. They give you an indicator strip to place in the compartment with it so you know when to recharge it (cook it in the oven).

As far as that goes you can buy just the actual desiccant also at a fairly reasonable price and do your own packaging too for smaller areas.

Tidy Cats Crystals - I pick mine up a MidWay or Cabela's. Oh wait...I mean Wal-Mart or Pets Mart.
