Well, if you see a lot of the recent posts in this thread, it seems like the 6 box limit is true. Perhaps stores have some local discretion to do what they want but it seems that 6 is becoming the magic number.

I stopped in the same Wal Mart that I got 26 boxes from a few weeks ago today and only walked out with 6 even though the shelf was full of 9MM. As of yesterday they put a limit of 6 boxes per day. Looks like I'll be stopping in after work again soon to be greedy.

I believe things are getting better. My local WM hasn't had 9mm in 6 months. Today they had 1400 rnds. 4 umc value packs and 4 wwb 100's. Also had 11 BB 45, 4 wwb 45 100's, and 6 38spl wwb 100's. I only bought 2 wwb 9mm. This was at 4am. Also notices the limit of 4 boxes was upped to 6 boxes.

The 2nd WM in Winchester had 4 bx of .357sig and 2 of .44mag plus some rifle ammo yesterday.

New 6 box limit at several Atlanta metro Walmarts started a few days ago. Saw today the first 9mm Blazer Brass and WWB 45Auto that I've seen in 6months  Looks like the local gun shop hoarders have finally been HIT between the eyes.
