I just went to the local Super Walmart. They must have gotten a full truck in last night because the shelves were fully stocked. I bought all of the .223, .40 and .380 APC. They had so much, they even had a 2 for 1 special ! WOOO HOOOO !!! I left one box of 22LR so I can;t be considered a "horder" .

Got real lucky today. found a wally world with lots of ammo. they just got a shipment this morning. all the 9mm was gone before 10am and i got there at 11:30
22LR 36gr min-mag 100pack 6.47 a box. / got 2 boxes
45apc Blazer Brass 50rnd pack - 14.97 a box / got 6 boxes
going back in the morning for some 40cal.

The news is not so cheery in Texas. Went to WM today at 7:35am, no pistol ammo received today. 
I'll be back at 7:35 tomorrow.....

I hate Walmart but decided I'd only buy ammo there. Went in last week... damn near empty, called a few days later, nothin'. Stopped in tonight after going to the range, and the shelf was almost full. I said I'd take it all then asked the guy behind me in line if he was getting any, he said he only wanted two boxes so I said go for it, and I walked out with 26 boxes!
Oh yeah, the clerk said somebody bought 60 boxes the week before... I noticed a small local shop had BB 9MM for $15... I can get Federal for $10.60 all day at the range I go to but I figure for 8.97...

Truth, but their ammo is so much cheaper. I can't see how they turn much of a profit on it, but I still feel a little guilty.
