Even if you buy ammo online, on most places the cost after shipping comes more or about the same of what you pay at walmart (including tax)

Thanks for the reply! i was hoping it would be cheaper than WW, but "no-joy". It looks like Federal Champion 180 grain .40S&W @ $13.97/ 50 rnds is still the cheapest. Especially since Cabela's $20.00 off coupon has expired.

But still a very good price relative to other stores!

My local Mega Sports seems to be the cheapest, Winchester white box of 100 for about $29 after tax.

The Bolingbrook Bass Pro Shops was out of 9mm range ammo yesterday and only had I think Gold Dot like box of 20 for $25.

The other local shop Rinks last time I was there was out of 9mm and .22 and I've given up on the Joliet, Shorewood, and Romeoville Walmarts, I don't even think they bother ordering whey they're out.

walmarts around here seem to be putting more shotgun/rifle ammo in the case and handgun ammo space keeps getting smaller. i got a few boxes of cci mini mags today for 6.47. first time ive seen them in stock.
