My wally world has had alot of 45acp latley and a bunch of rifle ammo they have also started carrying Win PDX and win military grade 00buck they also had a ton of 40S&W and a lonely box of Rem UMC valpak 357mag

I got
3- 20rnd Rem UMC 55grn fmj .223
2- 5rnd Win Military grade 12ga 00buck

The WM closest to me got some WWB 9mm in today, priced at $11.47/box of 50 rounds. 6 box limit per day on all ammo sales there, so I bought 6 boxes. I had to run to Lowe's in the next town north of here, so checked in at that town's WM afterward, but no 9mm on the shelf. (Both stores have plenty of .40 tho.)

I just got my XD9sc a couple weeks ago and have gone thru more ammo than usual lately, plus I already know I'll be doing some recreational shooting a couple days later this month, so I'm trying to stock up. I'm planning to hit the store on my way to work later this morning, too. Hope there is still at least 6 boxes left!

plenty of 40 and a bunch of 223, and since we're a hunting town, lots of other rifle rounds.

My Walmart's as there are 6 of them around within 15 min's none of them ever have 9mm until tonight so I was going to by the 6 box max as everyone talks about but was informed their limit is only 2 boxes! WTF? It was kind of hidden in the glass case in the corner and after I bought 2 my gf asked if she should buy some also and I said yes you get some and we will go to the range soon. The cashier behind the counter pulls some more from under the register to give her like it was all stored there and he was hiding it. He actually said he isn't supposed to sell it to her because that was "straw purchasing" but he did it for us like it was a favor or something. Anyways it was Federal 115gr. for $9.47 a box.

LOL!!!! straw purchasing ammo? I've worked in the sporting goods dept at WM for about 6yrs and this is a first i've heard of this. sounds to me another associate missed informed or trained. but thats nothing new.

I know crazy right.... Went back next day and they said they had none but after all of the tricks everybody has been pulling with hiding and saving it, maybe they did have some or sold it all to their friends.
