the WW in Aurora Colorado (parker and chambers) had 120 boxes of s&w 40 last night, blazer brass at $12.47 a box...... wishing i had a 40......

Just bought six 50-round boxes of Blazer Brass 9mm at Wal-Mart in Cannonsburg, KY. Guy said that's the limit they would sell me, and I didn't kick. They had three in the case, and when I said I wanted all three, he asked if I wanted more, and pointed to a shelf loaded down with the stuff. I had a hundred dollar bill, so I told him I wanted ten boxes; that's when he told me about the six box limit. They were priced at about nine bucks a box. I'm sure glad that I passed up the regular aluminum-cased Blazer at a gun store just before the Wal-Mart visit; it was priced at $13. Even more, I'm glad I passed on the American Eagle at the gun show this afternoon, which was priced at TWENTY BUCKS for a 50 rd. box!

You know, the last ammo I bought at Wal-Mart was WWB 100-round boxes at a different store.... and they would only sell me two boxes of that. I guess each store has different policies.

That particular local WM is simply ignoring the Corporate memo which is a 6 box limit per person per day.

I guess it was because my boxes were only 50 count.

50 rnd packs are for personal defense ammo.. 100rnd packs are for target..
I guess if I was out or dangerously low I'd hit up the 50s, but the 100s are a 1.97 cheaper at wally-world.

My 50 count boxes are FMJ, not JHP...

So I got 4 boxes of 9mm at walmart the last four they had got the shipment in last night. But damn they had plenty of .40 and .45 at least 20 boxes of each and not just WWB blazer and remington. I was jealous.

I scored a case ( 10 100 ct ) 9mm boxes of winchester target ammo at my local WW. Collierville, Tenn.

They didn't have any in the showcase but had 2 cases sitting on the floor.

The lady asked me how many I want and I said the whole case. She then asked me if the " limit sign " was still posted. I told her it was not.

She sold me the whole case. I could have purchased the other one too but I want to leave some for somone else.
