WalMart Ammo Posts Go Here

Both of our local WM's now limit to 6 boxes per cust per day. The WM closest to me puts all ammo out on the shelves at 10PM sharp. Lst night I got there around 9:55PM and there were ~10 people already in line. They had a couple of cases of WWB 100ct. 9mm, 1 case of WWB 100ct 38 special, and 1 case of WWB 100ct. 45. They were handing out 1 of each caliber per cust to start instead of allowing you to purchase your limit. By the time it was my turn they were out of .45 so I scored a single box of 9mm.

Earlier this evening I called the WM on the other side of town (about 10 min away) and they had 4 boxes of WWB 100ct .45, 5 boxes of 38 special, and maybe 4 boxes of .40 BB 50ct. I asked if she'd put the 4 boxes of .45 to the side and I'd be up there in 10 min. To my surprise she said that she would so I zipped over and picked them up. I even bought 2 boxes of the .38 since I am considering an LCR.

My Local Wal-mart here has also put a six box limit... Even on damn CCI .22LR 100 pack mini-mags. Talk about damn depressing. I haven't even seen a bulk pack of .22LR at my wal-mart for 6 months.

my wally world has not had sh!t for ammo in awhile like 2months and i was there today all they had was 1 box of Rem .380acp wich i bought 4 boxes of Win .44mag and 4 boxes of Rem .223

Our Wally is remote and doesn't have near the selection of most. Ammo comes in by the small box (20 rounds, 50 rounds, etc.), so when they restock it's only a few boxes of a few calibers. Corporate put out a memo to limit to 6 boxes per customer. Our Wally took it upon themselves to limit it to 2 boxes. I just picked up two boxes today of .45 ACP Blazer Brass. At least they aren't jacking up prices.

at another wally world about 10min from the one i went to today they have a ton of BB 40 and 45 all the time

No pistol ammo today, but still have tons of 30-06, 223, 00 and assorted bird and target shot.

Although I hang my hat in Kansas, I happen to be in California right now and I was amazed to see when I got here that there was a Wal-Mart in the area (yes, only one) that sold ammo. Bad thing is, it's in a part of town where gang crime is a huge problem... the side of town that mothers tell their children to not go. But, went I did. The shelves were almost empty, but I did pick up the last box of .38spc and they did have 6 or 7 boxes of .223 rem (federal value packs), so I picked up one of those. There were 4 young men standing by the ammo counter just watching me... I felt pretty uneasy, thinking "great, now the local gang thugs know that I'm walking out of here with ammo." I walked out through the garden section door. Ok, call me paranoid, but with ammo in short supply these days and gangsta's looking over my shoulder, what's a Kansan to do?

Oh yeah, 6 ammo items per person per day rule in effect.

As of 11pm walmart in roanoke virginia(bonsack) had 9 boxes of bb45 and still had 5 cases of fed 223 100rd boxes and got in 5 boxes of rem 9mm and 357 mag hp 100rd boxes and 2 boxes of 9mm win fmj in 50rd boxes. good luck!!!
