I meant loding them to 1.123 aol.

I normaly do shot strings of 10 rounds but you can do anything you want...lol

USPSA only shoots 3 to chrono your ammo at a big match, more if neccesary.

Ten per string usually seem to be the norm. The better chronos will do ES, SD, AVG, and list the HI and LOW velocities for you, quite a nice little feature.

The USPSA chrono procedure is so jacked up, its too easy for someone to be shooting lower PF during the match than at the chrono. Sure they say "we want 7 rounds from a mag on your belt"...solution? Don't put rounds in your mags until you're up to shoot. The only true way to get a random selection would be to take the chamber rounds from UASC. Though, on a limited count stage, it'd be easy to throw in a heavy round.

Anyways, anybody know the max OAL that will cycle/function in an XD40?

Hey R/T, try 3.7 grains of VV320 under a 180 plated bullet.
750 fps 135pf ....seated to 1.130 oal

4.7 grains of VV320 under a 180 plated bullet.
It should be about 930 fps for 168 pf ...seated to 1.150 oal

All fired from a 5 inch XD.
