I'd say my AK, it's the one I currently have the most ammo for by a wide margin.

my .22 semi auto. with poroper shot placement I can kill any thing I need to. it is cheap to buy ammo for, light to pack, and quite to shoot.

I don't list my guns - I know glocks, FALs, and AKs but I'm not sure my ability to fill a gunsafe with guns make me an expert on anything.
All that you can depend on from a 45 is that it will drill a .45 - .70 inch hole about 14 inches into someone. There will not be "energy dump", people will not fly backwards, and they will not necessarily fall as if they have been struck by lighting.

This is a DSA FAL with Rail, Eotech and Gemtech HVT. Pretty cool rig.

A shotgun can do... anything.
You can shoot birds in the air, you can shoot people on the ground, you can shoot people at 80 yards away w/ slugs, you can STOP A VEHICLE!
You can find ammo for it in ANY rural household!
I WIN!

for me I would have to pick my marlin carbine in 45 colt.
reasons are my revolver is also in 45 colt.no problem putting a lee handloader, bullet mold, primers and a lb of powder in a ruck sack.it would be a big plus to make your own bullets and stay away from towns and people trying to scrounge ammo .
