Been doing alot of reading here
I have been interested in getting a AK. A freind in Colorado tells me he can get me a Russin AK. Now with that said I would rather have a Russin AK. Is ther a reason I should not get one?

He's probably 99.9% talking about a Saiga AK.
And no there really isn't any reason I can think of not to get one. 
It's all about the look you want I guess.

SAIGA friggin rock! ....with that said, I dont have one, but have a little experience with them. For the price, Saiga is the best. I really like Romanian guns myself, but my next WILL be a Saiga. Hope that helps any.

100% sure its either a VePR or a Saiga, I doubt very seriously that you're going to put out the $$$ for a Russian AK that less than 1000 known (legal conversions and class III originals) have made it to this country....

If its an actual Russian AK,not a Saiga then you find out how much and post a picture. If the price is good I'd jump on it.

Already said above, but the Saiga is an awesome gun. I have a .223 and have never had 1 problem. Got mine about a year ago for $299 out the door.

Hello Falcon.I own 2 of these rifles,they are very dependable.Of course there are others with a better finish to them but cost quite a bit more.If you dont like the furniture that comes with it theres a thousand different ways you could go.Thats a decent price for todays prices.Buy the rifle,1k of ammo and a few mags and blast away.I love mine,but Im always keeping an eye open for others.
