Thats the good thing about living within driving distance from AIM (about 20 minutes from the office). I have gotten mage from there and had a few like that, i just exchnge them on the spot. AIM surplus are great to deal with, not a complaint in the world from me. Copes is as well, they ship same day usually and have great stuff.

Romanian drum loads one round at a time from the top......that takes a while to load.
Chinese drum opens and you press a button and turn the "spider" all the way around and then you just drop the ammo in until it's full then close the door and crank the knob put into your weapon and commence fire. It's a lot quicker and easier to load. ETA-You can load it up and then never crank the little knob and it's an excellent way to store 75 rounds of ammo.

I think i would prefer the top loader....less parts to break. Sounds like the more traditional 30 round mags. I think il save the money and buy the Romi.
Is it ok to leave it loaded? Springs ok with that?

Pics. Got them today
I had to stay home with a sick little girl and the UPS guy comes with my AK Mags.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The pouch does have leather parts to it but most of it is vinyl. Two of the five mags needed some modification; the base plate would not stay on properly. So I disassembled all for cleaning and minor rework. Overall, they have seen some use, but I don't see any reason they won't function flawlessly. All of them fit tightly with very little "mag-wobble" in my dimple-less Romanian. Good buy if you need some decent mags.
