new wood!!

my order for some russian AK74 hand grips and pistol grip finally came intoday. along with my new kobra sight! woot here are some pics on my unfinished AKS-74.

these are going on a russian AKS 74 clone just wanted to see how they look on the rifle.

MMmmm, looks good... thats an AK74 lower, but an AKMS upper. Finding AK-74 uppers that aren't cracked, split. chipped, or gouged is really hard and cost some $$. Now you need the thin laminated wood grip! Good job man, seriously-I'm impressed. Not many folks take one AKS-74s because of the folder....

Thanks! the side folding triangle stocks with wood hand grips are my fav, i think im going to make a Khyber pass clone out of one of my Romie G kits.

yeah tantal said on his website they where not matched sets. the vents in it kinda made me wonder about the top one! im not real concerned with it though, they match pretty good in color and they look great on the gun! i had to hand fit them though it took me about an hour to install them!

installing the folding stock rear trunion was pretty easy! now installing the forward stock latch that was tricky lol
