Tantal AK's that much different?
Well, since copesdist had them available for the best price i've been able to find, i went ahead and ordered a Polish Tantal parts kit. It has since arrived (after only 2 bus. days mind you), and i've been shopping around for magazines.
What i've come across though is this: "Romanian original 5.45x39 cal. double stack magazines. Used, excellent condition. (Not for Tantal)" http://www.jgsales.com/product_info....oducts_id/1585 If this is the case, how special are the Tantal AK's ?? I have found the Tantal receiver I need to order from nodak spud NDS-2T from their website This isn't going be along the same specialty lines as the Yugo's are is it where every piece is only for the yugo? Can anyone nutshell it pretty much on this for me? No pics of the kit, It's all in plastic and it'll stay that way until its ready to be built.

my tantal takes all 5.45 mags the steel mag that came with it was kinda tight but it still fits. i use russian plums and bulgarian the most, the east german bakelights fight fine to. kinda tight but fine.

So i've got my kit, i've ordered compliance parts, and now i can't find a receiver that is in stock!! nodakspud is out of the NDS2t receivers for the tantal build, and I'd like to get one soon! can anyone recommend a secondary receiver for me?

Kokalis did a multi-page writeup of the Tantal in the Shotgun news issue I got in the mail today, if anyone cares. I breezed through it but didn't have any take-aways to share.
